The Dark River Film Festival is dedicated to recognizing and awarding the best films period! Unlike other festivals, Dark River looks for the best film with the best story. Located in Louisville, Kentucky (home state to such individuals as George Clooney, Diana Sawyer, Johnny Depp, Jennifer Carpenter, Ned Beatty, and others) the 16th largest city in the U.S., the festival strives to promote up and coming talent from all over the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
