Netflix Sets Up New Chris Nee Series Dino Daycare at Guru Studio
Guru Studio, a leader in children’s entertainment, has been picked by Chris Nee (Doc McStuffins, Vampirina) and her production company Laughing Wild for the Netflix Series, Dino Daycare.

In a world where dinosaurs never went extinct and now live alongside humans, Dino Daycare follows a six-year-old human boy named Cole as he helps out at a nursery for baby Dinos of all shapes and sizes. The 3D animated series is created by Jeff King and was first unveiled last October as part of Chris Nee’s overall deal with Netflix.

“We’re thrilled to be working with Chris and creator Jeff King and the amazing team at Laughing Wild to bring this adorable and imaginative world to life,” said Frank Falcone, President and Executive Creative Director at Guru Studio.

Production began at Guru Studio in April. The Toronto-based entertainment company is also in production on Mecha Builders with Sesame Workshop for HBO Max, new seasons of PAW Patrol with Spin Master and Nickelodeon, Big Blue with CBC Kids, and Pikwik Pack which is now airing on Disney Junior and Hulu.

With their line up of animated programs continuing to grow, Guru is expanding and hiring across a range of 2D and 3D roles. For a list of open positions, please visit our Careers Page.
